What the system does

Problem
Schools, colleges and businesses in Nepal depend on video conferencing for classes and meetings. The most widely used tools are built and hosted abroad, which gives Nepali organisations little control over where their meeting data goes.
T-Meet was built as a Nepali alternative for education and business meetings, with the security of that data treated as a priority.
Solution
T-Meet provides video conferencing for education, such as online classes, and for business meetings. It is developed in Nepal as a Nepali product, with data security as a core requirement rather than an afterthought.
My contribution
I contributed to T-Meet as part of the A1 IT Innovation team, in three areas:
Backend — work on the server-side systems behind meetings and users.
DevOps — work on deployment and the server infrastructure T-Meet runs on.
System design — work on how the platform's components fit together, with data security as a design requirement.
